Madras Chickpea Hummus

This technique can be used to combine any of your favorite Spicemode Cooking Sauces. Treat it as you would normal hummus- as a tasty spread or dip. We have used this bold hummus on sandwiches, on veggie platters, wraps, salads, beans, pretty much everywhere.


1/2 Jar Madras Sauce
2 Cans Organic Chickpeas
1/4 Cup Coconut Milk
1 Tbsp Coconut Oil
1/4 Cup Unsweetened Coconut Flakes
1/2 Lemon


  1. In the bowl of a food process combine 1/2 jar Madras Sauce 2 Cans of Chickpeas, 1/4 Cup Coconut Milk, 1 Tbsp of Coconut Oil, Coconut Flakes and juice from 1/2 a lemon.
  2. Add all ingredients into a food processor and combine until smooth. Add more coconut milk if too thick.
  3. Taste and add a couple more spoons of cooking sauce for a bolder flavor. Adjust lemon juice for brightness.  Season with salt and enjoy.
